The ECOSME project officially started in November 2021 with an in-person meeting in Portugal.
The Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo [IPVC] received the partners of the EcoSME project - Business Sustainability Skills for SMEs in the Hospitality Sector, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, from 9th to 10th November 2021.
This first face-to-face meeting was incredibly productive and started with the introduction to the project, discuss the project objectives and the relevant timelines and any potential challenges or obstacles that the team anticipated which would impact on the accomplishment of tasks, and definition of all the working actions, including discussions on stakeholder research.
EURAKOM gave a presentation on PR1 and presented the draft consultation document to all partners for review - considerable time was spent on reviewing the qualitative and quantitative questions and giving due consideration to the specific language used in each jurisdiction to ensure consistency of approach and to ensure that the document was easily understood by the target market.
Visja Strokovna Sola za Gostinstvo in Turizem (VSGT) Maribor gave a presentation on PR2 Catalogue of Best Practices, based on best practices in Slovenia as examples for the partners.
DomSpain, gave an overview of the draft website and invited feedback from the partners on the proposed content and brand of the platform.
ATU discussed the outline of the dissemination plan and gave an overview of the social media platforms that would be used as communication channels.
All partners were very satisfied with the results of this meeting, which was a great success as the starting point of EcoSME!
